This place serves food like how grandma used to make. It’s not flashy or expensive, just humble ingredients cooked well, with soul. We started with Mentaiko Monjya-yaki, realised it’s good and continued with Pork Yaki Soba and finished strong with a Oyster Okinomiyaki. Portions are smaller but cheaper (700-800yen) excellent for those who want a variety. The lovely owners told us the shop is 47 years old, we highly recommend for those who enjoy decent food and a slice of nostalgia. 😊

Amazing place. We stumbled upon this gem by accident, while looking for another place (which we could not find). Instead, we decided to enter and try the Okonomiyaki at this little hole in the wall. This was the best decision we have made during our stay in Tokyo. The owners were incredibly kind, we understood each other regardless of the lack of an English menu. The Okonomiyaki was delicious, so we decided to try the Monjayaki as well. Needless to say that it was delicious. There are only four tables, which makes the place very intimate. Don’t be deterred by the appearance, because you’re in for a treat. I am thrilled to have found this place on Google so that I can save the address for the future. Truly highly recommended. Thank you for the amazing dinner. We hope to find you here again next time we visit Japan. Oishikatta!
