More Comments at Google MapA secluded monjayaki restaurant in a back alley. Very homey atmosphere here. Order the old-fashioned way, which is to fill out the slip yourself. English is unavailable, so it is better to go with someone who speaks Japanese.
A monjayaki restaurant that is very close to Sumiyoshi Station but is hidden in a back alley. . The shop's original Fukagawa Monja is full of clams and green onions, and the scent of the beach and self-flavored soy sauce are good! The following “Awayukiten” is a fluffy okonomiyaki with silken tofu added, and the flavor of dried shrimp and raw shrimp is strong. The aroma of the soy sauce lightly charred on the hot iron plate is perfect. The final dish was the classic monjayaki, with mentaiko, mochi, and cheese. . It was my first experience with the style of seasoning myself, but it's fun to be able to adjust it to your liking. It was delicious no matter what I ate, so I'm curious about other originals! 950 yen (Fukagawa monja), etc.
I've been going here for over 30 years. I recommend the mochi mentai monja. I use it with my friends and family. The owner and his wife have great personalities, and the restaurant feels like home, giving you a nostalgic feeling.
