Shibuya City, Tokyo, Japan｜Harajuku Okonomiyaki Yai-yai

There is wait time for dinner, but the wait is definitely worth it! We sat at the bar seats and saw the chefs in action! The intestine dish was so fragrant and had great balance of flavours. Must try! And the star here is the okonomiyaki! The perfect comfort food: warm, creamy, and you just cannot stop eating. If you still have room for more food, you should try their yakisoba! We saw a lot of people ordering and it did not disappoint :) Service was very friendly and the overall experience was 5/5!

I’ve eaten so much food in Japan, cheap and top end, but for comfort food and a general good vibe, this place is well worth the likely wait to get in if you haven’t got a booking. Being in such a touristy area I was a tad sceptical, but is was fantastic. Already on my list of places to return to. The staff were also really friendly and a table by the Okonomiyaki Chefs will really add to the atmosphere (plus you learn to cook it yourself)! This is a nice place for okonomiyaki nearby Harajuku. We did not book and requested a table of 6 so had to wait for about 20mins. They were thoughtful enough to have aircon units and free tea for those waiting. We ordered quite a few dishes and they were all very tasty. We loved the eringi mushroom, The yama-imo yaki (potato okonomiyaki) dish and Horumon (the beef intestine) one were pretty interesting. Waitresses were friendly and they have english menu. Worth visit for anyone craving okonomiyaki!
