Toshima City, Tokyo, Japan｜Again

This was our favorite restaurant in Japan! The menu is only in Japanese here but the waiter knew simple English words like pork, shrimp, cheese, etc to help us order. This is a family owned restaurant and a local joint right next to otsuka station. They were so welcoming to us as foreigners and tried their best to communicate with us, whether it was through body language or google translate. On top of that, the food was great! You can choose for them to cook it or to cook it yourself on the grill. Overall, great experience and we promised we would visit them again in the future. They also have yakisoba and other alcoholic beverages. This is a smoking joint so more recommended for older crowd! If you’re reading this, we miss you already and we love you guys!

Came here to try Okonomiyaki for the first time and wasn't disappointed. Tasted great! Many thanks to the staff who were very helpful and accommodating to the fact we didn't speak Japanese.

Okonomiyaki restaurant in Otsuka! It's a local Japanese restaurant. When I went there, everyone was Japanese, but when I asked the staff, they said there were a few foreigners coming. There was only a Japanese menu, and the staff seemed to speak only Japanese. Our group was able to have basic conversation and light conversation. First, I saw that they asked if I could speak Japanese. Not recommended if you cannot speak Japanese The okonomiyaki was first demonstrated and guided directly! Very friendly and cheerful people!! We exchanged light jokes and were able to eat it quite happily. The taste is good for the price, about 700 to 800 yen per piece. I really like the atmosphere and people here. It's just like Japan... However, like most local restaurants, smoking is allowed inside the store, and the owner's grandfather smokes, but not to a severe extent. The ventilation facilities are good, and no one smoked except our group. If I come here in the future, I want to come back again!
