Gujo, Gifu, Japan｜Yakisoba Katagiri

Really unique and bold flavored yakisoba. Amazingly low prices and good portion sizes.

Sauce yakisoba with a gourd texture that has never been experienced before. 500 yen is cheap with meat balls (ordered with fried eggs 🍳). The way the crispy noodles are coated with the sauce without burning is a must-see when visiting Gujo Hachiman. The edges of the okonomiyaki are crispy and delicious! There are many takeout orders over the phone even before the store opens, and if you are late, the offer may be delayed, so it is preferable to visit the store by PP. In fact, customers who came around 11:15 were told that they would have to wait for nearly an hour, so they gave up.

A yakisoba and okonomiyaki restaurant. It's an old-fashioned shop that gives you a nostalgic feel. Even people who aren't local probably feel nostalgic about it. Katagiri is characterized by yakisoba that is fried until crispy, making it a yakisoba that you can enjoy both in taste and texture. Yakisoba with sauce was 540 yen (unspecified) (large size plus 200 yen) (my wife was 100 yen extra).
