More Comments at Google MapSechiyaki is similar to okonomiyaki, but is unique to Gobo city. I absolutely love trying a region's unique style of a dish and this one is special to this place! The parking area is small and can fit a few cars but that's the norm for Japan. Upon entering, you'll notice that it's a small establishment, only a few tables but it doesn't feel cramped. The tables are clean and everyone is friendly. The menu is just one page but flip it over for English! I saw the other table's portion and knew it would be enough for me. Got the mixed Sechiyaki and it was delicious! Okonomiyaki batter isn't used - just noodles, proteins, veggies, seasoning, and eggs. On the table, you'll find chopsticks, I think... garlic powder?, togarashi (that mild red spice), and the green & white seasoning they put on okonomiyaki. I tried a combination and as much as I like spice, I think it takes away the flavor of the dish. If anyone is in the area, make sure y'all stop in, it's delicious! I'll be that person that won't shut up about this when the topic about okonomiyaki comes up.
The interior of the store has the atmosphere of an old-fashioned konamon shop. Sechiyaki is a modern-style grilled dish made with cabbage and other ingredients wrapped around soba noodles, covered with egg, and baked without the flour. Sechiyaki grilled slowly and softly with two types of sauce. Of course the taste is great. The sauce is rich and goes well with thick soba noodles. The fact that the mothers bake the dishes while chatting with bright smiles may be one of their specialties. If you have something to do in Kinan, this is a store you should definitely stop by.
Ordered Sechiyaki mix and Yakisoba mix Sechiyaki is a dish of fried noodles topped with egg and topped with sauce and mayonnaise. My partner is allergic to eggs, so I also ordered fried noodles. Sechiyaki is fluffy and delicious! ! On the other hand, Yakisoba is also very delicious! In contrast to Sechiyaki, Yakisoba is grilled with a very aromatic flavor and is very delicious. We recommend comparing them! ! I wonder if both are mixed with sauce and soup stock? It has a very deep flavor. If you order a mix, it will be full of toppings and gorgeous!
