Kyoto, Japan｜Masumi

Great family-run restaurant to dine at! We ordered quite a few dishes and tried some of the unusual ones too (English and picture menus available), highly recommend the Okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and tofu steaks. We also tried the offal dishes - not something for everyone but they were tasty and several of us in the group loved them! The highlight of this though was definitely the friendliness and hospitality of the family running the restaurant, as well as the other customers who seemed to be regulars there. We weren't a Japanese speaking group, but they made every effort to make us feel like we were locals. Would definitely be back again the next time we're in Kyoto!

They are a little short-handed. Please be patient. The wait is worth it. Food is great and affordable. My 1st dinner in Kyoto. Their hospitality is good. Even gave my little nephew free ice cream.

Surprise us, we order 10 dishes, all are delicious and gone super fast. Foods were good taste. Prices are reasonable. The owners are very nice and friendly. Good services. Highly recommended.
