Lovely deluxe okonomiyaki! Mega fresh pork 🐷, shrimp 🦐, squid🦑, and standard ingredients (cabbage, leek, picked red ginger) in a tasty batter. To be cooked by your honorable self on the steel-plate table - but they'll usually explain (at least in Japanese) how to do it if you're not sure. On top, I recommend the house sauce, spicy sauce, and mayonnaise. Plus, of course, bonito - though, while some flakes came with the batter, I'd have preferred more flakes to sprinkle instead of the powder. Anyway, it was totally yummy! 😋 For a Saturday night, the place was well visited (mostly by couples of all ages) but pleasantly quiet, with rock and pop classics (I guess from the radio) at just the right volume. Glad to have discovered it!

I love the okonomiyaki and yakisoba here. I've been going here for over 30 years. You'll never get tired of the traditional, nostalgic flavor, so you can eat as much as you want. Okonomiyaki is basically a pattern that we make ourselves, but you can also have it made at a restaurant if you like. I'm not confident in making yakisoba delicious, so I always have the restaurant make it for me. 😁
