The cheapest okonomiyaki I have ever had!! It’s tasty. Masters are nice here and you can only find it local and warm.

Helmed by the sweetest grandma who was completely unbothered by my use of Google Translate (I don't speak Japanese and she didn't speak English, nor were there any English-language menus). I just told her that I wanted something with seafood and that I didn't eat pork or cheese and she made me the most delicious and thick seafood okonomiyaki. I wasn't sure about the price so I handed her 1000 yen and she gave me 500 back - it was only 500 yen for that massive okonomiyaki! $3.49 USD by today's conversion. Even if it wasn't such a good deal I would have given this place 5 stars because of how friendly she was (she turned on the fan and TV for me and packed my leftovers for me when I asked for a box). The decor was very nostalgic with the old-school TV and radio. If I'm ever back in Sawara, I will 100% go back.

When I moved to Sawara, Chiba Prefecture, I thought I wouldn't be able to find a delicious okonomiyaki restaurant unless I went to Narita, but I happened to find this restaurant and was impressed. It's run by a couple, and the parking lot is not large, but it's fully equipped. The inside of the store is reminiscent of the good old days of the Showa era. The most important thing is the taste... it's insanely delicious. There are plenty of vegetables hand-prepared by my mother, and the prices are shocking. It's too cheap. Even though it's so delicious and packed with filling, I feel like I'm grateful for it. The beer went well and I was really satisfied. I want you to always take care of your body and do your best. I found a hidden okonomiyaki restaurant in my neighborhood, and I'm definitely going to visit it again. Everyone please do too.
