One of my favourite restaurants ever. I strongly recommend the karubi and ichibo! The price is amazing for the quality of meat; it just melts in your mouth. It is better to do a reservation as the restaurant can get quite busy, but after 9pm you could do a walk-in. They speak Japanese in the restaurant (I made a reservation in Japanese) but the owner is super nice and tried their best to speak English with my friend who couldn't speak Japanese. It's a very local place but well worth a special visit (even if you are further in the Shibuya/Shinjuku area)

This is my second time using it. Both were counter seats on the first floor. It was delicious both the first time and the second time. The food and drink were served promptly. Because the portions were so large, I thought I would have to eat more slowly towards the end of the meal, but I was able to enjoy it slowly without being rushed. There are reviews that the shop is unfriendly, but when my husband and I used it, we talked about various things and it was a lot of fun. We don't usually talk, but I felt that it was fun to talk with the shop staff. I want to go eat again. thank you very much.
