My wife and I ordered the set A course and the quality and quantity of food was incredible. Every single person working was extremely kind and it did not feel fake like some other places in Japan, where they frequently do it out of obligation. This has been my absolute favorite place in Tokyo, and that’s saying something since I’ve been here over a year across my trips. Lovely, tasty, friendly, and a good value.. just come in already!

I ate here alone, and the kind host treated me like family. I enjoyed a delicious yakiniku bento, with rice, which was very filling. The beef is perfect, and presented in a delicious sauce. I got to try bamboo shoots for the first time, and it was a very subtle but delicious flavour. Affordable too. I'll come back!

I had an amazing dining experience at 焼肉牛将 堀切菖蒲園. The Wagyu beef and chicken tandoori meats were absolutely delicious and I definitely recommend these if you’re visiting. The meat had a marbled texture and flavor that was out of this world. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, making sure that my dining experience was top-notch. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I felt right at home. Overall, I highly recommend 焼肉牛将 堀切菖蒲園 to anyone looking for a delicious yakiniku BBQ experience in Tokyo.
