Beef lovers rejoice. Kurogewagyu Yakiniku Gyu-Kuono is a wonderful spot frequented by locals and travelers who share a love of high quality meat in an unpretentious setting. If you have experience grilling you will love cooking the juicy cuts on the tabletop grills. Pair the meats with perilla leaves and house ssamjang and you will experience bliss as a meat lover. The beef tongue was the best I’ve ever had (even better than Los Angeles K-BBQ). If you’re visiting on a weekend, be aware there may be limited seating. Staff speak limited English but the proprietor is savvy with a mobile app translator. So long as you are familiar with the meat cuts the English menu should suffice.
The master is great and friendly (and a giant in stature). Quality is top shelf
