Great affordable place in Kyoto! We spent around ¥4000 for 2 people. The waitress Somura Otoha that served us was very friendly and prompt on getting our food out and refilling our water without asking also took notice she was very helpful and willing to communicate with the old American couple sitting behind us. Will 100% recommend this place, Did not experience anything negative from this place specified from the 1 star review from Mr Yan.

We got wagyu strips and bbqed them on the spot, insane quality! The side dipping sauces are also amazing. Approximately 5000jyen for 2 people!

We enjoyed our early dinner on a Monday night. We Ordered the Special meat platter and it definately did not disappoint! The menus were in English as well and instruction to cook different parts of the meat! Highly recommend getting a reservation prior to going!
