Handa, Aichi, Japan｜CONVIVIALITE Onikudokoro

After 2.5 years living in Aichi, I can now confidently say I have found my favorite restaurant I have ever ate in in Japan. Delicious course menus based around the best beef available, with only high quality cuts from the Kobe area. Service was remakable, and you can sense the passion and the pride of the server and from directly the cook when they come at you table to share their creations. Drinks are extremely well done, with my wife finding her Moscow Mule to be the best she ever had. Large selection, and the cook even gave us a taste of a delicious handmade Lemoncello he made. Prices are surprisingly affordable for the course menus (the intermediate course menus was 5800yen each for 8 different services) Could not say enough good of this place, the kind of place that will certainly make me go or detour to handa, only for this restaurant. 5* without a doubt

The best restaurant to eat on a special day. Even though the price is twice that of a chain Yakiniku restaurant, the taste is three times more delicious! ︎I was so absorbed in tasting it that I only took photos of the first item (beef tataki) (><) I visited this shop five years ago on a trip from Nagasaki with my wife, and happened to stumble upon this shop. It's been 5 years since I was so impressed by the deliciousness that I've talked about going there again someday. Finally, I was able to visit again on the occasion of my mother-in-law's birthday celebration. It must have been tough due to the coronavirus pandemic, but I'm glad the store is still here... This time, I was once again able to enjoy the wagyu beef. In addition to the meat, the owner's recommended shochu and sake are also delicious! I'm jealous that Handa has such a wonderful shop.
