Ran into this nice little grill shop by chance, just to find the food quality is way better than what one can find in the U.S. Service is also superb, they try everything they can to explain to us who don’t speak Japanese. We love the thick-cut beef tongue and the wagyu sirloin. The wagyu is great in texture and flavor. The pure satisfaction with the grilled beef just left us thinking: why the hell US beef sucks and so overpriced??

I first visited Hitachi Beef after hearing from a friend that it was delicious. The marbling is just right and the fat is refreshing! The roaster also produces almost no smoke and is gentle on women. If you come to Mito, please try it!

eat yakiniku. I will go to eat often! However, there is no parking lot at the store, so I always park my car at the coin parking behind the store or nearby coin parking. The number of table seats is about 30, so you may need to make a reservation depending on the day of the week and time of day... There was also a counter seat! All the meat is fresh and delicious, so I'm careful not to overcook it (laughs). It's a yakiniku restaurant, but there was also champagne 🍾
