Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan｜Daishogun Yakiniku House

A friend of mine showed my wife and I to this hidden gem! Fortunately our friend is fluent in Japanese or we may have never had the full experience. The quality of the meats were outstanding, the different marinated/seasoned wagyu cuts were top notch and unlike anything ive ever had before. The staff were all very kind and made a very inviting environment for us even as foreigners. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Matsumoto.

I came here because I heard it was delicious. They were very attentive to the children and provided pre-meal drinks so they could enjoy the meat without hesitation. I was a little worried about bringing children as there were only adults around, but I was very happy with the staff's welcoming atmosphere for children. Everything from the appetizer, meat, sauce, salad, and dessert was really delicious! They also have some rare craft beers, so you can also enjoy alcoholic beverages. And on the way home, a very cute boy came to see me off. Speaking of Yakiniku, this seems to be the standard. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Matsumoto for the first time from Taiwan. Last Monday night, I wanted to eat yakiniku in Matsumoto, so I found this restaurant on Google Maps. I immediately took the train with my friend, left Minami-Matsumoto Station, and walked. This restaurant's grilled meat was delicious, the drinks were delicious, and the staff was kind. As we are foreigners, we were very grateful to the store staff for taking the time to introduce us to us in detail. I ordered a simple course and was able to eat a variety of grilled meat. Drinking beer made me feel better.
