I was looking forward to my trip to Gifu. To [Nagagara Setsugekka]. A famous restaurant where you can enjoy high-quality branded beef. It was a restaurant I wanted to go to, but it was my first time and I was excited. A stylish and fashionable space. The tableware is also nice and it was fun to look at it 💕 This time, there were some cuts of beef from Saga prefecture, but the main one was Yamagata beef. I feel a sense of closeness because I am Grandma Yamagata. The beef tongue with sashimi is soft and the flavor spreads in your mouth. I was already impressed from the beginning. The crayfish and caramel are also melt-in-your-mouth delicious. What came out in between was Sudachi cold noodles. I had heard that Setsugekka's was especially delicious, and after eating it, I was convinced. It also comes with frozen soup stock which makes it refreshing ☺️ Grilled sukiyaki that is lightly grilled and wrapped with green onions. When mixed with the yolk of the full moon egg, it combines with the fat of the meat for a rich flavor. All the horns are crisp and juicy. The liver had no odor or taste and was easy to eat. The rice dishes are delicious. Plenty of ingredients with the fragrant aroma of charring from the hot stone oven. Setsugekka’s special curry is also really delicious 🍛 This is a yakiniku restaurant, but this is also a very popular menu item. Setsugekka is quite famous in Gifu. This restaurant is run by the nationally famous meat master Satoru Tanaka. This time, I ordered the Nagara branch's special course. (Special course offered only in March) The source of the meat changes depending on the day, and better quality meat is available. On this day, we were able to enjoy meat such as Omi beef. The Kamishiotan was clearly a high-quality meat with plenty of marbling, and the flavor exploded the moment I put it in my mouth. The other meats of the day were loin and pork belly, all of which were cut into large pieces and so hearty that you couldn't finish them all in one bite. As for the taste, there was no doubt that it was delicious no matter what I added to it, including salt and sauce. Furthermore, speaking of Setsugekka, curry is also popular, but this time we chose stone-grilled bibimbap! ! This was also very delicious and a hit. Many restaurants also use cold noodles that contain buckwheat flour, so people who are allergic to soba cannot eat them, but Setsugekka uses buckwheat-free noodles, so even those with a soba allergy can enjoy delicious cold noodles. I can. This Setsugekka is grilled over charcoal, making the meat plump and even more delicious.
