Stumbling upon this izakaya restaurant for lunch turned out to be a great surprise after coming off the subway nearby. The various dishes we ordered we delicious and we really enjoyed the selection from the menu.

I was looking for a place to get lunch and the atmosphere looked inviting so I went inside. I immediately saw the picture for the spicy pork curry, and that is what I ordered. It took longer than I expected to be served, but it was worth the wait. This was one of the best dishes I had in my entire 8 day trip to Japan. From the rice to the egg to the pork and the curry, the seasoning was perfect and the spice was just enough to give the dish a little kick without making my tongue burn. The miso soup was light and flavorful and the salad had a nice crunch. I will definitely come back here on my next visit to Tokyo. Delicious!

Worth the money. So delicious The people are very sweet.. always smiling... The price bit less than other resto near them. We stayed 6 days at ueno and have dinner here 4 times because of the food amd enronment. Will be back here if given a chance.
