Nagoya, Aichi, Japan｜Itadaki

Highlight of Nagoya! Stumbled upon this beautiful little restaurant in the backstreets and received the best, loveliest service and most wonderful okonomiyaki we could’ve asked for. Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere, lovely food! :-)

This is a teppanyaki restaurant located at the Shinkansen exit of Nagoya Station, opposite the former First Cabin in the Taiko direction. In addition to teppanyaki, they also serve okonomiyaki, so I think this is a restaurant that can be used for both eating and drinking. On this day, we made a reservation for 4 people and were seated at a table in front of the iron plate. It's on the 1st floor and has large windows that allow you to see the outside clearly, so you might say it's a bright location. Okonomiyaki is basically served grilled, and even though it's in Nagoya, they also have monja, which I asked for and they grilled it quite nicely. I was so impressed that he was able to make the monja in such a way that I could really enjoy it, thinking that I probably wouldn't be able to cook it this well on my own. Overall, the food was delicious, and the restaurant allowed smoking and was comfortable.

I was curious because I always passed by and it was full. I made a reservation in advance. The restaurant was full and busy, but I could see why it was so popular as I was able to enjoy my meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I am satisfied with the food, drinks, and customer service! Reservations are recommended.
