This is a store I always go to when I come to Iida. Not only the Otaguri but also the Senmai (Japanese senmai) are fresh and delicious. You can order Otaguri. It will be vacuum packed.

I came to Iida on a business trip ^ ^ Let's eat Iida's soul food! When I looked it up, "Otaguri" was a hit. I was looking for a restaurant near the station where I could eat Otaguri, and I stopped by Mitsuwa. I was hesitant to enter because it is a long-established store with a tasteful appearance, but I mustered up the courage to enter. I was greeted by a warm mother. The inside of the restaurant was small, with only two desk seats for four people, but it had a very comfortable atmosphere. Maybe there are seats in the back? I ordered beer, otaguri, and jangja, and had chive kimchi for appetizer. When I told him that I was going to eat ``Otaguri'' for the first time, my husband was very attentive after serving the meal and asked if he wanted to eat it, to which he immediately replied, ``It's delicious!'' lol It had a simple seasoning (salty?) and was refreshing and easy to eat. The second half was topped with chili peppers and the tangy seasoning went well with it, making it very delicious (^O^) The changja and chive kimchi were perfect as snacks and were delicious. I would definitely like to stop by when I come to Iida again. Thank you for the meal ^ ^

A long-established store that sells Iida's specialty "Otaguri" that I learned about from a friend who lives in Iida. Otaguri is a stew made with horse offal. I compared the otaguri from other restaurants, and Mitsuwa-san's otaguri was the most delicious! The traditional preparation of horse offal is simmered with salt in a large pot over a wood fire.
