I really enjoyed the space and the food is delicious. Sake combine with every option of the menu. They understand English and they are very helpful to describe each dish.

When I was on a business trip, I asked the front desk of my hotel if there was any restaurant they recommended, and they introduced me to this restaurant. Apparently, the person at the front desk of the hotel also uses it privately at his favorite restaurant. That's why I bothered you. The inside of the store is dark and has a nice atmosphere. And the female clerk who helped me was super cute and friendly! ! (Mask magic?) 100 points for this alone (lol) For the dish, I ordered the chicken nanban set meal. It's rare that they also serve set meals even though it's night time. And they're all cheap. The chicken nanban tartar sauce was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect combination with the highball. After that, we had Japanese sake, eggplant, and ginger. This shop is the best because they do a good job of making these kind of oxidized small bowls without cutting corners. I want this store near my house. The name of the restaurant is Soma-ya, but the food was so delicious that I suggested that they change it to Saikou-ya (lol).It's a restaurant I definitely want to visit when I'm in Nagano again on business. No, even if it's not a business trip, I would like to take my family with me. As many people have written in their reviews, there is a kids' space, so it's a very friendly restaurant for families with small children. It was really delicious! I will go again!

I was staying at a nearby hotel and was looking for a place to eat dinner, so I came here. The atmosphere is more like a set meal restaurant that is open at night than an izakaya. All the dishes were delicious, plentiful and very satisfying. The stew was especially delicious. I didn't go for a set meal, but I think it's the perfect restaurant for a quick drink and a meal alone.
