Huge nabe pot of fresh products, main dish, delicious. Beautiful sashimi platters. Private setting with sunken table in comfortable sized room. Deceptively separate from counter/bar area. Attended by friendly oji-chan quietly and quickly replenishing table after requests. One minute walk from Shinano-yoshida station on the Nagano Dentetsu line.

I don't want to tell you about it because it's delicious, but I wrote it. It will be operated by only one owner. I don't think this is suitable for people who are busy and require the kind of service that customers consider divine. If you are someone who puts the owner first and enjoys a leisurely meal, you will find the owner's dishes rich in flavor.

Thanks to everyone's posts on Google Maps, I found a great store! When I was thinking about having lunch near Yoshida Station, I happened to find the restaurant "Kobayashi Shokudo" on Google Maps. There was space for about three cars to park in the parking lot next to the store. The inside of the restaurant was ``THE Showa era diner,'' and the elderly owner was managing the restaurant by himself. When I looked at the menu, the prices were Showa-era prices, but when I ordered the stir-fried vegetable set meal, they gave me a 100 yen discount for some reason. It took some time because the chef was the only one in charge, but customers kept coming in one after the other, and many of them were eating curry that wasn't on the menu. The owner was very personable, and restaurants like this have become rare these days, so I would like to go there again.
