Kitakata, Fukushima, Japan｜たまよし食堂

Kitakata Ramen, ramen shops dotted around town, have long lines at noon. I sewed up the gap and was able to eat it somehow. Just looking at the quaint interior of the store gives you a sense of what to expect. It tastes like the basic form of simple ramen. The ramen in this city seems to be consistently hit or miss no matter where you eat it, which is probably a good thing.

During Golden Week, the famous restaurants were so crowded that there was no place to eat, so I happened to happen to be passing by and found this restaurant. I ordered a set of fried rice and ramen, and both were very delicious and reasonably priced, making me wonder why it wasn't crowded. I would like to go again when I go to Kitakata.
