This was one of our favourite meals in Japan. I was looking for a healthy stew option for dinner, and we stumbled upon this amazing wild boar hotpot meal. The place focused on what they were good at. Except for us it was just locals, and the menu only had a few items (no English menu). There was a language barrier but the staff/chef were super friendly and we had a nice chat through the translation app. The server took care of us and made sure we were doing things right lol. The three course meal (boar, veg, rice stew), was served one after the other and we paid about 9,000 yen for two. This meal will be in our top highlight memories of Japan for sure!

Fresh boar meat shop. Purchase a bottle of sake that was picked that day every day It will serve you! Wild boar meat doesn't smell and it's my first time, but it's very delicious. Although it has a lot of oil, it was not greasy at all, and even the rice porridge was delicious!

I used it on my way home from work! It was great, including the atmosphere! Boar meat shabu-shabu is refreshing, sweet, and you can eat it endlessly! At the end, you can have rice porridge to finish the meal! My mom was also nice and friendly! This is a popular restaurant that is hidden away and cannot be entered without a reservation! It was really great! I will use it again!
