It was my last dinner in Tokyo of this 7 day trip. I was not hungry and was looking for something different. I almost skipped the place but decided to go in. It was the right decision. The place is cozy, the service is great and it was the best eel I have ever had. I would just move to Tokyo for this restaurant alone. Thanks for the great service.

In Minato Ward, it is known as an eel restaurant with a long history. It's a small store that looks like it's been left behind in the valley of buildings, but at noon, the pleasant scent wafts all the way to the street, so if you follow the scent, you won't need directions. When you open the door, there is a small counter and table seats. The atmosphere is indescribably retro, like something you'd see in a morning drama series. If you climb the stairs in the back, there are two tatami rooms that can be used for banquets and dinners. The eel here is proud of its charcoal-grilled softness and its well-infused secret sauce.

This is a very delicious eel restaurant. It's a little small though.
