Hama Nakko is a reasonably-priced, suburban version of the same sort of expensive, fancy-looking unagi eel restaurants you might find in Shinjuku or Ginza. For the cost of around ¥2,000 to ¥3,000 you can enjoy unagi don (eel on rice) as a meal set. It comes with miso soup and pickles, but there are also ready-made side dishes that you can choose from inside a glass cabinet near the counter for a few hundred yen.

I had Shirayaki Matsu and bottled beer. The eel was fatty, well-cooked and delicious. The shop is bright and the grill area can be seen from outside, giving it a nice atmosphere. I am drawn to this smell and smoke.

A conscientious restaurant that serves quality eel at a reasonable price. It's not at all difficult to get into, which is common in high-end stores. Prices start from around 3,000 yen. Even so, you can still taste the eel properly.
