Since it was the Midsummer Day of the Ox, I ate Unajigematsu. After all, eel is delicious. I think it's cheap if it costs 4,000 yen. I have to splurge on it at least once a year. This year I ate eel called Bando Taro and it was really delicious. It was the best eel I've ever eaten, and I thought it was worth the 5,000 yen price tag. I missed out on eating eel last year and the year before, so it was a good decision to make the effort to eat it this year. I wanted to try Shimantogawa's, but it was sold out, so I ended up eating Bando Taro's, which is reliable again this year. After all, if you eat this eel, you won't be able to eat any other strange eel that you don't understand. It's so soft that it melts in your mouth as soon as you put it in your mouth, and it's like an art. The number of young eel is decreasing year by year, so I try to eat it once a year, but 5,500 yen is too cheap for a once-a-year luxury. I'm looking forward to eating there again next year. So this year, I wanted to eat eel jus from the Shimanto River, but it was sold out even though it was the day before the Ox Day, so I ended up having conger eel tempura bowl. Well, I wanted to eat eel, but the conger eel tempura was crunchy and meaty, so I was glad I was able to eat the conger eel tempura bowl. The fried conger eel bones on top were also delicious. I have to go eat there as soon as July comes next year. Also, the price of eel is skyrocketing. The Bando Taro that I used to eat until last year was 5,500 yen including tax, but this year it will cost 6,000 yen.
I had a tempura bowl for lunch. It was 1150 yen. It's a little extravagant for me for lunch, but it was very delicious. There are rice bowl dishes that change daily and have a 100 yen discount.
