2020 visit An eel specialty store that originated from the Tsukiji outer market. It looks like a chain store, but it seems like it's only here and in Kaminoge. For lunch, I ordered Kin no Unajyu (King). A bowl of rice topped with a whole large eel that is pleasing to the eye. A delicious scent that spreads the moment you open the lid. The meat is thick and elastic with just the right amount of fat, and the skin is thin and crispy. It's probably Kanto-style, but perhaps because it's grilled well, it has a Kansai-like finish. The sauce is kept to a minimum, so you can enjoy the deliciousness of the eel straight away. Furthermore, adding fresh grape sansho, which has a rich flavor, makes it even more flavorful. Is delicious. Among Japanese eels, they use something called Aote. What's more, it comes with liver soup, pickled vegetables, and even coffee after the meal. Normally 4,880 yen, the opening commemorative price is 2,928 yen. I'm very satisfied. Apparently they also have Shirayaki, so I'd like to come back to try it again♪
