Best eel (unagi) I've ever had, both regular and nagoya style. The waitress even mixed my dish for me with the right condiments. Has live eels and a charcoal grill. Amazing interior, all japanese, no tourists, a lot of businessmen. Get the almond tofu pudding too!

Great choice for lunch. One of the best unagi meals I’ve ever had. The perfectly cooked eel is sticky and smoky with a hint of sweetness. They open only from 10:45am to 2:30pm and the crowd is mostly senior company executives or tourists. The crowd seems to thin from 12pm onwards so that’s a safe time to visit. Save some rice and ask for ochazuke at the end of your meal to be given a little teapot of eel broth. Pour that into your rice to finish your meal with a lovely eel porridge.

The best unaju i have ever had. So tasty! I went to have lunch on monday afternoon. I think it's more like a restaurant for local people. I didn't see any tourist there.
