The store was pretty empty, probably because it was just after the three-day holiday. I ordered Shirayaki and Nuta platter as appetizers. As I was enjoying the crispy shirayaki and exquisitely seasoned nut, the unajyu (tokumatsu) also arrived. When I put the golden-broiled eel in my mouth along with the rice, it melted. The owner and staff were warm and helpful, and I thoroughly enjoyed the eel. Thank you for the meal.

I went to visit Nishiarai Daishi with my family. I have small children, so it was helpful to have a tatami room and other options besides eel! The eel was very delicious. I liked the sauce, which wasn't too sweet, and the way the eel was grilled. It's also nice to have something to take home. It became a store I would like to visit again.

It may take courage to enter, but the inside is a neat and tatami-style eel and izakaya. The taste is very good.
