Great experience at Alaska Fukinuki. We tried both the Unajyu and hitsumabushi. I preferred the Unajyu, but both were great.

Lovely place, english menu available. Went at 8pm and the restaurant was almost empty. Slight wait for our hitsumabushi but absolutely worth it. Got an umaki to start off with and it was delightfully fluffy. Service was impeccable and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

The Unagi was excellent despite this being eaten in the winter. Probably the best I’ve eaten in Japan over the years
