The price is of course expensive side, but taste is always great. To avoid the long queue, it is advised to try after 2pm on weekdays. We could get our table only 15 minutes waiting.

When it comes to eel, my husband and I have no hesitation in choosing Yokohama Takashimaya Noda Iwa. The store clerk is as attentive as ever. And as usual, the eel is charcoal-grilled and fluffy with a sharp sauce that doesn't seem too sweet♫ It will be a luxury that I only do once every six months (lol). For those who like sweet sauce? ? ? It may be a bit harsh, but please try it once to enjoy the crisp, non-greasy feeling!

I ordered Kasane. The top was shirayaki and the bottom layer was kabayaki, so it was nice to be able to enjoy both. Dessert came with white sesame pudding.
