I ordered a special Unaju (with liver soup). The restaurant's unaju is a type that separates eel and rice. The savory aroma of the large eel that just sticks out of the box tickles your nostrils. After being steamed, Kanto-style eel meat is dipped in sauce and grilled, making it so fluffy that it melts in your mouth. The sauce is dry and crisp, and has a very elegant taste. The compatibility between this sauce and eel is outstanding! Too delicious. Japanese pepper is fragrant, and this is also an elegant type. It doesn't have the crunchiness of the store-bought eel, and the faint sansho flavor matches the eel and sauce. The soup and pickles are also delicious, and the level is insanely high. The name of the store "Kurokomaro", which is said to have been named after Katsuzo Kurokoma, a Kyokaku of Koshu, was not a date. If you want to eat eel in Kofu, this is a restaurant you definitely want to visit. It's strange that it's not listed in Tabelog's 100 famous eel restaurants.
