More Comments at Google MapVery nice Unagi. I ordered the Plum Unagi Set (125gr). It comes with jellyfish appetizer, pickle and soup. The unagi is very tender and delicious!
Urawa has many famous eel restaurants, and I have eaten most of them, but Koga is my favorite. It's going to be a beautiful store, it's clean, and the restroom is also beautiful. The plump, steamed and grilled eel is served with a sauce that is neither too sweet nor too thick, so you won't get tired of it until the very end. It goes well with small, crispy rice. The picture is Unaju no Matsu (6,300 yen) 5% off with LINE registration. Children OK, cards accepted.
On Sunday night, I made a reservation only for a seat. Because it is a busy season, we did not do the course, so we received several items of unagiju (bamboo), umaki, and skewers separately. The eel was fragrant, yet fluffy and soft, and it was a very delicious eel. The volume was solid even with bamboo, and the satisfaction was high. The quality of the dishes was high, and I was able to enjoy delicious sake. It was surprising that the shop recommended wine and sparkling wine. I wanted to try it, but I didn't have a good image of soy sauce and wine, so I was intimidated. The interior of the restaurant has a western-style and stylish atmosphere, and I was impressed by the fact that they are doing their own route as a new-age eel restaurant. Next, I will try wine. I read a previous review that the waiting time was long, so I prepared for it, but it wasn't like that at all. It was normal. Also, there were some negative opinions about the customer service in the hall, but I felt that the customer service was very pleasant. A very good eel restaurant has opened in my neighborhood, so I would like to continue to use it, including lunch.
