This is one of the stores I would definitely like to visit again.

When I was in Sugito town for work, I asked the locals if there was a recommended eel restaurant, and they recommended this one, so I stopped by for the first time. A very chic eel restaurant is located at the end of a short walk down the road in front of the station that stretches straight from the east exit of Tobu Zoo Station and turn left at a side alley. I asked for a seat in advance over the phone, and the person who answered the phone was kind and gave me a good impression. The interior of the store has a Showa era feel to it. In addition to eel, there are various set meals such as squid tempura, cutlet stew, fried chicken, and pork cutlet, as well as rice bowl dishes. I ordered upper eel ju (3,050 yen). I was surprised that it cost 3,050 yen, but I was even more surprised when the eel came with rice. The bowl was full of eel, and the meat was thick. The eel is perfectly steamed, not too soft, and carefully grilled to perfection. I thought it had a good texture, similar to the one I had eaten at Sakuraya in Mishima City before. The sauce is not too sweet and goes well with the eel. Later, I served it as a lunch box for musicians who were participating in an event held nearby, and even the discerning musicians raved about it.

We operate quietly in a back alley. The eel has a refreshing sauce, no odor, and you can eat it all day long, no matter how many people you eat. Delicious, just the right amount of grilled meat, liver meatballs flavored with yuzu, and a well-known local restaurant. In addition to eel, we have a variety of other menu items such as tempura bowl, tempura set meal, and fried set meal. You can enjoy it during the day or at night.
