I used this restaurant when I was sightseeing in Tokoname when I traveled from Kansai to Asuke, Aichi Prefecture.I entered the store around 12 o'clock on a weekday, but...the store was filled up quickly as many people came one after another...Recommended local fish. I ordered the gozen and Chita beef & eel hitsumabushi. The Chita beef was soft and delicious! The eel was also crunchy and juicy, making me very satisfied. Today's local fish was a simmered fish called kanagashira, which is similar to a gurnard, and the sashimi included cutlass, horse mackerel, blue-eye tuna, and mejikari sashimi. I was impressed by how well and carefully the food was cooked. I was surprised at the low price, thinking that if I had a set meal of this quality in Izu, where my parents live, I would definitely pay upwards of 3,500 yen! ️ As expected of Japanese tableware, I'm in love with the good Tokoname ware! ️ The chopstick rest is so cute that I asked about it and was told that it was the last item made and sold at a local pottery. I walked around looking for it, but...I couldn't find it. I want that ceramic miniature chopstick rest! ️(lol)
Whatever I eat at this restaurant is delicious, but I wasn't feeling well today, so I ordered the eel tempura, which was a small amount and had the best of it. The crispy grilled eel and lightly battered, crispy tempura were delicious~♪ This is a very good restaurant where you can enjoy the aroma of both the soup with strong dashi and the Japanese pepper that is ground in a mill. The husband and wife run the business together, and Ms. Norie, who is full of energy, is the famous proprietress. (lol)
