Five of us, my daughter, her husband, my grandson, my husband and I, came for lunch on the Midsummer Day of the Ox. There are many kinds of pickles and they are very delicious. The eel is also charcoal-grilled and very delicious.

I visited around 1:30 on a weekday, and the restaurant was mostly empty so I was able to eat quietly. There is a free pickle buffet. You can choose the amount of rice. I received a rice bowl with 4 slices lined up. The inside was fluffy, the surface had a sweet, caramelized aroma, and the skin was grilled to a crispy texture, making it very delicious. I sat on a bench seat by the window, but the table seemed a little high for me. The staff's response was neither good nor bad. I was happy that hot tea was served in a pot.

Tamagawa. Delicious😋 The skin is well-cooked and fragrant, and the texture of the crispy skin is also good 👍 The recent rise in the price of eel is undeniable, but... It's good because it's delicious. Tamagawa's food is more delicious than the famous restaurants that are bad at it.
