Nagoya, Aichi, Japan｜鰻勝

Our group very much enjoyed this unagi restaurant located in the upper floor of a building. It looks lowkey at first with no English sign (last pic) so be aware. We got four 2,500-yen unagi set meal. The servings were sufficient (see fourth pic). The place was empty when we went inside, Friday lunch. There were hangers to place your coats, nice detail. Place was spotless and clean. The servers were also nice, though English was very limited. When we went inside, we were greeted enthusiastically. We were also greeted goodbye when we left. Overall a great unagi restaurant just a few minutes away from Nagoya station. Arigato!

Although it is on the 2nd floor, there is also an elevator. The hitsumabushi eel was grilled juicy and was very delicious. The volume of rice is large. You can get 4 or 5 cups in a bowl. There are very few snacks on the regular menu. If you're going to go out drinking after this, it might be a good idea to drink less.
