About a month ago, I saw an interesting video on TV. And I'm going to a concert in Nagoya at the end of September, so at that time... The price and quantity are reasonable as seen in the images, and you can see how delicious it is.This time, yesterday, September 22, 2023! It's been a long time since the coronavirus has subsided and I've been to Nagoya for the first time in a while😄. Enjoy the Obon holiday in Osaka! This time in Nagoya. If you are in Mie, it is a good place to go to see the Kinki area, including Kobe, Kyoto, and Nara, as it is historically located in a convenient location for sightseeing! I didn't know much about this store, which is located on the opposite side of Nagoya Station, so I used Google to find the store. The signboard seen from the street I found after getting a little lost! I'm always impressed when something like this happens 🐭. Now, excitedly, I was guided to a seat on the second floor and placed my order! I've only ever had hitsumabushi once before. Unajyu or special grade. However, the hitsumabushi here seems to be just enough to satisfy your stomach. We both order the same thing. I got a train today, so first of all, while I was waiting for Nachu. It's always nice to enjoy a different kind of alcohol while traveling than at home, no matter what time it is! "Here we go!" At the end, hitsumabushi comes with dashi soup for ochazuke. First of all, just eat it with rice. The slight smell unique to river fish makes me think, "Wow! It's so delicious😲❣😄" just two of us "delicious" I can't stop smiling😅 In the middle of cooking, dip the rice, eel, and wasabi in a bowl and add the dashi stock to dissolve. Once you eat it, you'll never get tired of it, and it's even more delicious! “It was delicious, thank you.” When I went downstairs to pay the bill, a female clerk handed me a small jacket with the owner's drum playing on it. Ah, yes! I'm sure there was a video of the husband himself performing a drum solo on TV! Gratefully, I grabbed the CD and left the store, enjoying today's shopping and fun in Nagoya...😄

I was staying in Nagoya as a stopover on my way back from a trip, thinking I'd eat some delicious food. Although I arrived much earlier than my reservation time, I was welcomed warmly. I ordered the upper eel hitsumabushi. It was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and very delicious. I like eating it with wasabi. This volume costs 3,000 yen, the best value for money! I don't like restaurants that are too noisy, so it was nice to be able to eat in a quiet and calm atmosphere. This is a shop I definitely want to stop by when I go to Nagoya again.

It was my first time in Nagoya and my first Hitsumabushi. When I made a reservation online in advance saying, ``I'm coming from Tokyo,'' a kind-looking old man spoke to me while I was at work the next day. "Thank you for your reservation. Please take care when coming from Tokyo. We have delicious eel waiting for you." I received a warm and caring answering machine, and I was so happy that all my fatigue was blown away. However, perhaps because it was lunchtime in the middle of a three-day holiday, the store was very crowded. Even though I had made a reservation, I had to wait a while and ended up sharing a table with a man I didn't know. I was a little embarrassed and disappointed, but the eel was very tender and delicious despite being reasonably priced, and I thought that with such deliciousness, it might be no surprise that it was crowded. I ordered the mini hitsumabushi gozen, and it was the perfect size for a woman who doesn't have a big stomach (and who wants to eat dessert later). When I returned home, I thanked the lady (wife?) who had paid the bill at the cash register for her answering machine, and she smiled broadly and patted me on the shoulder, which made me both surprised and happy. I thought the shop was run by a friendly couple. Next time I would like to go in the afternoon on a weekday. However, if possible, I would like you to refrain from sharing a table with a man without asking me whether or not...! “Can we share a table? Or would you like to sit alone, although it will take a little while?” I would appreciate it if you could confirm this. I think it's a good restaurant with delicious eel and a friendly atmosphere, so I'll continue to support it.
