I stopped by after visiting Atsuta Shrine. The fragrant aroma of hitsumabushi whets the appetite. The most important part was the eel, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and I was impressed by the expert skill with which it was grilled. Personally, I found it most delicious when I topped it with grated wasabi and some seasonings. Upper hitsumabushi costs 4,350 yen. However, I was more than satisfied with the price, so I would definitely like to visit again!
From local eel in Shizuoka I liked the way it was cooked and the taste. Half hitsumabushi, sashimi, and chawanmushi are also available. It was just the right amount for a woman. Next time I would like to try it on top of hitsumabushi. It was very delicious.
