If you want to try Hitsumabushi I strongly recommend this restaurant! Small and lovely place with very friendly staff. Menus only in japanese but staff speaks a little bit english. Totemo oishikatta desu!

Nagoya is close to Hamamatsu, so maybe the eel is delicious? Next to Ichibiki, I felt that the eel was meaty, fatty, and had a strong flavor. The inside of the restaurant is small, with only 4 tables, so reservations or early arrival are essential. There's a lot of rice, but they listen carefully to how much you want to eat, and if you can't finish it all, they'll make you a rice ball. Mitsutama-style eel ju is a separate dish of eel and rice wrapped in dashi stock.
