I went there because I wanted to eat curry udon at Segawa's main store, but it was closed. When I was looking for a place to eat nearby, I found this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The appearance of the shop had an old-fashioned atmosphere, but there was no particular problem. When I looked at the menu, I was surprised at how low the prices were. I ordered the special for 2,200 yen, and I also ordered grilled liver for 500 yen, which was not on the menu. The eel was voluminous and fluffy, and the grilled liver was crunchy without any bitterness and was very delicious. The sauce is also good! The bill was 2,700 yen, and I was very satisfied with the cost performance. The eel is from Isshiki, and why is it available at this price? When I asked about this, I was told that this could be done because there would be no rent or labor costs. I was very impressed by the fact that prices are rising everywhere due to inflation. I would like to come back again when I visit Toyohashi.

The restaurant is long and narrow at the back, like an eel's bed, and there are two raised tables that can seat four people, two tables for one person, and two tables for two people. The small rise felt quite cramped for four adult men. I ordered Unaju Tokujo for 2,300 yen including tax. The large bowl of rice was free. For some reason, I ordered Unajyu, but when I looked around, there were only people ordering Unadon, and as I waited, wondering what the difference between Unadon and Unajyu was, my Unajyu arrived. There are two layers, and the first layer is a piece of kabayaki eel roll. The second layer contained white rice without eel sauce. The price of 2,300 yen, which comes with salad, pickles, a slice of orange, and liver soup, is the lowest price I've ever eaten at an eel restaurant. The eel sauce was sweet, but the taste was delicious. It's only open during the day, so if you can go, please come by. postscript I talked to a colleague at work and he said he was going the next day, so I went with him, but when I went there at 11:25, just before the store opened, I was told it was fully booked, so I just made a reservation for the next day and headed home.
