When we arrived in Toyohashi after 2pm, the eel restaurant we usually go to was closed for lunch, so we decided to try a new one. I ordered the hitsumabushi ``cho'' made with one eel and grilled liver. First of all, bone crackers were served as a service. Next, grilled liver. There are 6 large livers. The plump, non-bitter liver is deliciously seasoned with kabayaki sauce. These two items seem to go well with alcohol. It's a pity that I couldn't drink it that day. Hitsumabushi was brought to us. When you open the golden bowl, you'll see a fragrant, thick, and quite large eel. The seasoning is a little strong, but it's perfect for white rice, condiments, and ochazuke. It was a delicious eel with a rich flavor. Next time, I would like to visit you when I can drink alcohol.

I really wanted to eat eel, so my husband made a reservation and we went together. The time was 1:00 pm, so it was empty. There are counter seats, tatami rooms, and seats for four people, so this time we ate at the counter!
