The meat is so tender yet chewy at the same time. Definitely follow the 4 steps eating guide! I had one in osaka, but this one is way better. I finished the whole set in minutes! Recommended for everyone visiting nagoya. THIS IS A MUST!
Came with my client for the business dinner at around 8 PM in a week day. Not clouded and very quiet with tasty Nagoya local cuisine serving the charcoal BBQ-ed sea eel. Highly recommended.
The best ever experiance of eating a bowl of charcoal-grilled eel with rice set called Nagoya Hitsumabushi. The eel is crispy from outside and soft inside. The sauce is sweet. There is instruction on how to eat it 3 different ways. I tried it all and really satisfied with the experiance. Definetely will come again in future when visiting Nagoya again.
