The second floor is a Japanese-style room with wooden flooring and table style, and can accommodate small parties of about 10 people to large parties of about 40 people. Every corner was thoroughly cleaned, and the store had a clean feel. The miso hotpot had a sweet flavor using Hatcho miso, which I loved. Cochin's sasami fries were a big hit. The refreshing tartar sauce was also good. The eel was a small portion as it was a course, but the skin was crispy and the meat was soft and delicious.
A famous eel restaurant located 5 minutes walk from Katsukawa Station. Ordering a la carte was expensive, but all the dishes were delicious and gave us an impression of excellent value for money. It's nice to have the luxury of eating all the eel once in a while.
This restaurant mainly serves eel hitsumabushi. You can eat oyakodon from Nagoya Cochin. Feel the chewy texture and aroma of Nagoya Cochin. It was a very delicious oyakodon. It also comes with dengaku, I enjoyed the strong flavor of Nagoya's red miso. It's a nice and relaxing store.
