The eel is steamed raw, so the texture is fluffy and very delicious. The sauce is moderately sweet without being too thick. The price of Unajyu was 4400 yen, which was higher than previous reviews. It was a popular store and the staff were busy working. Customers are polite.

Available in February 2022. It seems that the redevelopment of Kashiwa Station has come to an end and the building has returned to its current address. Anyway, the eel here is different from other restaurants, it has a really well-balanced eel, and I really liked it. ■Cooking/taste There were two of us, and the total cost was 8,965 yen, including tax, 2 eel jugs (with liver soup) for 3,960 yen, 1 item for boiled liver for 550 yen, and 1 go of hot sake (Kiku Masamune) for 495 yen. Serves 1 eel. The size of the eel is standard compared to other restaurants. The specialty of this place is that it is ``raw steamed'', which is the Kanto-style grilling → steaming → grilling process, but by omitting the first ``grilling'' step, the eel is steamed raw, which apparently preserves the flavor of the eel. . I don't really understand this area, but when I ate it, it definitely had the flavor of the eel itself. The crisp texture of the surface of the eel and the moist flavor created by the grilling process are a perfect harmony. There was no grilled liver, just boiled liver, so I had it with hot sake as a snack, and having a wonderfully sized liver and hot sake in the middle of the day was a blissful moment. ■Service/Atmosphere In the fall of last year (2021), it was rebuilt and returned to its original location. For some reason, the inside of the restaurant is not barrier-free, but the seats are spacious and the counter is wide, making it an environment where you can eat with peace of mind. The style of pressing a call button at the entrance to call a staff member is something I have rarely seen in private stores. This may be because it's hard to notice when the store is this big. Even so, the eel jus here were first-class. This is a restaurant that you definitely want to include in your eel rotation.

The fluffy eel was very delicious. I went there when the store opened on Sunday, so the store was full and I waited 40 minutes to get to the table. In 30 minutes from there, I met Unagiju (before the store opened or 40 minutes later).
