This is my favorite izakaya in Japan. It holds so many fond memories, is always so delicious, and never changes. Get the negima and butabara, shio (salt) style. Get the tsukune (meatball) tare style. Get the agedashi tofu. Get the largest size beer because why not. Have the best time at a local spot that has fed Mobara locals for decades. Cash only!

I really like the atmosphere. The namerou horse mackerel and fried natto with shiso are very delicious and go well with beer. I ate other things, but I forgot to take pictures. A store I want to go to again.

You can choose salt or sauce for the yakitori set meal, and the yakitori expert will carefully grill it for you. The 3 pieces of freshly made fragrant yakitori are very filling and highly recommended. The small bowl of boiled fish is also soft and delicious. Daily set meals are also a great deal. The restaurant has counter seats all around the central cooking area. You can sit here by yourself and wait for your set meal while watching the grill, or you can go with a group and have a chat in the small room.
