Just right amount of char broiling. Its aroma, bite, textures and tastes were exquisitely balanced. It did not need an extra eel sauce nor any garnishment. It brought me a joy of eating an eel again after 15 years of abstinence. I will visit once a week to try other offerings in future.

Good unagi. Just the way I like it, slightly charred. Historical shop, if recall correctly, more than 100 year old. Nice traditional interior, authentic feel. Speaks English well and accepts credit cards.
