2023/9 Normal rice bowl 1400 yen. Raw 550 yen. Today, I visited the Daikantei Branch West Exit, which is located in front of the West Exit of Tsu Station. I ordered a normal rice bowl for 1400 yen and a raw medium for 550 yen. The eel here had a crisp texture rather than the fluffy one found in the Kanto region, but it was very tasty and went well with the rice. Thank you for the meal.

I was on a business trip to Tsu, so I decided to try some eel at Taikantei. It's located right across the road from the west exit of Kintetsu Tsu Station. I entered around 12:30, expecting it to be crowded, but there were not many customers as the lunch crowd had already passed. I ordered the eel rice bowl (four pieces). The eel was large and thick, so it was fragrant on the outside and really fluffy on the inside, so it melted in your mouth. It's not greasy or sticky, so you can eat it without getting bored. The liver in the liver soup was also grilled, so it was fragrant and delicious. That's 2,300 yen! In Nagoya, you can easily get twice as much...Tsu is the best place for eel.
