Why is it more calm than home? Both soba and eel are delicious. Apparently it was restored after the damage caused by the flood, so it must have been a tough time. This is my first visit since I stayed here for work several years ago. Was delighted.

Visited the store for the first time around 13:40 on Sunday. I was actually planning to eat at another eel restaurant, but the staff at that restaurant had a terrible attitude... This is a store I found while walking around the neighborhood after stopping to enter the store. In conclusion, "Kojiya" was the right choice. It was interesting from the moment I entered the store. There is a Japanese drum at the entrance, and you have to beat the drum to notify the staff of your arrival. At the sound of Japanese drums, a graceful elderly woman appears and guides you. There were no other customers at the table, so it seemed like we could enjoy a leisurely lunch for the first time in a while. From the menu, I ordered the ``Senhime Gozen'' set of small eel and soba noodles. It's pleasant to look out at the well-appointed courtyard while waiting for your meal to arrive. It's also fun to see little birds and butterflies visiting from time to time. The meal arrived shortly. The set includes ``Small eel, Mori soba, Eel liver soup, Tamagoyaki, and Pickles.'' It felt good and was very delicious. Next time I'll come and try the Kamo Nanban. Koujiya is also a Japanese-style inn, so it's fun to see the Showa-era interior. There are also some nice paintings.

I stayed for one night on Saturday and Sunday. The building is a tasteful space that makes you feel like you have slipped back in time to the Showa era. It was quite old, but it was neat and clean. The atmosphere is like a great writer of the time coming to stay. lol I think it's perfect for those who want to spend a leisurely time or for a comfort trip. Also, the landlady and the staff were very kind and helpful, and it was a very comfortable stay. On that day, we had reserved a small Japanese-style room for two people, but since we were the only guests, they kindly upgraded us to a larger room. Thank you m(__)m The tempura, soba, and katsudon were also delicious! I will come back to you when things calm down. thank you very much!
